Colchuck Lake, Washington State Panoramic Photography

I could sit here for hours taking in this breathtaking view in Washington States Cascade Mountains.  At the top of a steep 3.5 mile trail (2,300 feet elevation gain, with a 60 pound pack) I came around the corner and there was Colchuck Lake. Suddenly, laid out beneath my feet were the the icy waters of the amazingly blue lake. Reach up high above at the far end of the lake, the twin spires of Dragontail and Colchuck Peaks seem to touch the sky! This 20 x 60 panoramic consist of nearly 30 pictures stitched together to form a crystal clear 150 megapixel fine art photograph.
