Hey, I’m Chris. Glad you’re here.

I’m a photographer, husband, dad, and lifelong baseball guy living just outside Nashville in Nolensville, Tennessee. I take pictures of places I love, write lyrics, and usually have a few creative ideas going at once.

The person behind the lens

A little
about me.

California, Washington, and now Tennessee. A few different chapters, with a camera and a baseball somewhere in most of them.

I grew up in Southern California, moved to the Seattle area when I was 13, and graduated from the University of Washington. Baseball was a big part of my life along the way. I played some semi-pro ball, and I still love being around the game.

Life took me back to California for acting and commercial modeling. I worked with brands like Nike, Carhartt, and New Balance, and spent some time on television. If you watched Big Time Rush, you might know me as the Mayhem Bear. Yep, that was me.

Through all of it, I kept taking pictures. Eventually, people started asking if they could buy prints, and in 2017 I started CFAB Media Inc. It’s a pretty great feeling knowing a photo I took is now hanging in someone’s home.

These days, home is Nolensville, Tennessee. My wife and I moved here with our two kids in 2025 after years in the Seattle area. We’re making new memories, spending plenty of time at the ballfield, and getting to know this part of the country.

I’m still the same guy who gets excited about a great view, a good game, or an idea I can’t wait to try. Photography is a big part of that. Lately, writing lyrics has become part of it too.

The craft behind the image

Yes, I brought
my camera.

A lot of what I love about photography is simply getting out there. Finding a different angle, waiting for the light, and seeing what happens. Even a place you’ve been a hundred times can surprise you.

For Game One of the 2024 World Series, I put together 18 separate photos to create one panorama of Dodger Stadium and downtown Los Angeles. As a photographer and a baseball fan, that was a pretty good day at work.

From a photograph to your space

Find one that
feels like you.

Maybe it’s a beach you grew up near, a trip you still talk about, or the stadium where you watched your favorite team. Those are the kinds of connections I love hearing about when someone chooses a print.

Another way to tell a story

Fireflies on I-65

Moving our family to Tennessee was a big chapter for us. I wrote the lyrics to “Fireflies on I-65” about that experience and all the little things that started making this place feel like home. Give it a listen. I’d love to know what you think.
